Status/Comments: APPROVED. Evoking the muscular designs of Chicago's John Hancock Building and Hong Kong's HSBC Tower, this slender supertall high-rise features exposed structural bracing on its facade, with tapering setbacks and a crown of four spires at the rooftop corners. 

NOTE: Pre-approved as part of the master redevelopment plan agreed to by City Hall, developer Silverstein, the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, and site's owner, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
